Nursery visitors

We love to have visitors at Woodcroft, it enhances our provision and provides different provocations to inspire the children in their play and exploration of the world.

These include theatre companies and storytellers delivering wonderfully creative storytelling, musicians sharing their passions, and parents sharing their hobbies, jobs and skills.

We value parents, grandparents and governors helping with our Forest School sessions and sharing books with the children. We love to invite pets in to our group times, we’ve had rats, tortoises, guinea pigs and rabbits visit as well as the odd dog or two! The children are always fascinated and their play is often influenced for weeks afterwards.

We also encourage parents and grandparents to join us for special story time sessions, for Mother’s Day tea parties and for our Dads and Lads Day.
