Butterfly Watch 2023

May 2023 - We have a lovely display in the atrium around our butterflies that we have watched transform from caterpillars into beautiful butterflies.  The children have explored the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar in previous weeks and the opportunity to watch the change first-hand helps deepen their knowledge about this process as well as providing a memorable real life experience. The children have been able to explain the process and remember the key vocabulary. The children have thoroughly enjoyed watching the change and the excitement of their release into the wild.
