Woodcroft Nursery School and Tanglewood Nursery School joint ‘ramble’ for Children in Need

On Thursday 17th November we will be ‘virtually’ linking up with Tanglewood Nursery School to take part in a ‘ramble’ around our nurseries to raise money for Children in Need.

As part of our ramble at Woodcroft, we will be exploring all the different garden areas in our nursery including the Forest School garden and will be taking part in a range of ‘hat’ related activities to symbolise the ‘bobble hat’ traditionally worn on a ramble.

We will be searching for hidden hats! Hidden around the nursery will be pictures of hats which will be worn by various staff members, can we find the missing hats and identify who should be wearing which hat?

We will also be decorating a large bobble hat with coins, so please send in any loose change you have as all proceeds will go to Children in Need.

Children who are in session on this day are asked to come in wearing a bobble hat if you have one, or a hat of any kind and to ensure that you bring a warm coat and wellies if you have these. Spare wellies are available in nursery if needed. We will also welcome a voluntary donation towards Children in Need.

If children are not in session on this day, you could still take part in this event by going on your own local area ramble and send in a photograph of you taking part.

Following our ramble we are very pleased to have received this certificate.
